Notes:
Fades between tracks, as is common of vinyl bootlegs. There are also changes in volume levels here and there, nothing too huge but I suggest you fix it yourself if it gets annoying for you.
The sound quality on this one is about B- (although I think it sounds a bit better near the end), I have no idea of how many cassette generations this one went through before being pressed to vinyl. The instruments are decently in the soundscape, the vocals are audible but harder to make out especially in the beginning of the gig. I'm sure there are Joy Division/New Order heavyweights out there with low-generation cassette copies, so please post those if you can be bothered.
Performance itself is usual quality Joy Division, shouldn't be a disappointment.
The eleventh track on the vinyl bootleg is "Incubation" from the Preston 1980 soundboard, but since that one is commercially available it was not included here (and it runs way too fast too). There was also some monk chanting (slightly corny, eh?) at the beginning and at the end of the bootleg, those have been removed because we do not want to exploit any monks here at Dime.
The artwork for the vinyl bootleg is in the torrent. It accidentally lists "Shadowplay" twice.
Here's some of the taper's memories regarding this recording (from http://www.angelfire.com/ga/zza77/temp/duncan.htm):
[Duncan]' A month or so after Ian's death when I first meet Rob Gretton at Rough Trade in London, with six of my Joy Division master tapes, it was the Futurama tape that he wanterd to hear first. He put on I Remember Nothing and I said he should fast forward to Wilderness as he'd be able to assess the tape better. He just smiled and said "I can tell fine with this track". He handed me a copy of Licht Und Blindheit -Sordide Sentimental and about 6 of those flexi freebies. Rob was a really nice bloke.'
